Strategic Sourcing Manager

We're looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead, negotiate, and transform.

Albertsons Philtech, a captive center of Albertsons Inc., is expanding our leadership team. We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager with strong IT sourcing expertiseparticularly in SaaS contractsto drive value, lead people, and deliver measurable savings through strategic negotiations.

• Solid strategic sourcing experience
• IT Sourcing expertise, specifically SaaS contracts
• People management experience (must have held a manager role)
• Proven experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Demonstrated cost savings achieved through vendor negotiations

Job Description:

Leadership

• Lead and manage the strategic sourcing team, ensuring training, development, and engagement
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and crossfunctional partners to secure buyin
• Create sourcing partnerships to increase addressable spend

Strategic Sourcing & Industry Expertise

• Lead and negotiate largescale contracts with favorable commercial and risk terms
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize procurement efficiency
• Serve as a trusted advisor to internal clients on contracting and sourcing needs
• Ensure compliance with U.S. sourcing and procurement regulations
• Identify and mitigate sourcing and procurement risks
• Manage vendor relationships, performance, and market competitiveness
• Negotiate and manage contracts including MNDA, MSA, and SOWs
• Partner with Legal and Security to ensure contract protections
• Lead sourcing events from project kickoff to contract execution
• Leverage eSourcing tools and emerging technologies
• Act as a category expert, developing playbooks, roadmaps, and spend analytics

Reporting & Performance

• Manage sourcing projects from small initiatives to multimilliondollar engagements
• Develop weekly and monthly operational metrics, including spend and SLAs
• Prepare and present sourcing performance reports to leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in sourcing or procurement
• Proven success in contract negotiations and vendor management
• Strong expertise in the U.S. sourcing and procurement environment
• IT Procurement/Sourcing experience (hardware, software, SaaS)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and contract management processes
