Main Responsibilities
Leadership
Lead and manage the strategic sourcing team, ensuring effective training, development, and
motivation of team members.
Establish relationships and lead stakeholders and cross-functional teams to secure process
buy-in.
Create strategic sourcing partnerships to increase addressable spend.
Industry Expertise
Oversee and conduct negotiations for large-scale contracts, ensuring favorable terms and
conditions.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and enhance
efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and
objectives.
Identify and mitigate risks in the sourcing and procurement process to safeguard the company's
interests.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality
standards.
Ensure compliance with U.S. sourcing and procurement regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with internal clients to understand and meet their contracting
needs.
Negotiate business terms with vendors and partners to minimize risk and maximize price
efficiencies.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of various contract forms, including MNDA, MSA, and SOWs.
Liaise with the Legal and Security departments to ensure all contract controls and protections
are in place.
Lead sourcing events from project kick-off to contract execution.
Use and evaluate e-Sourcing tools and new technologies to enhance sourcing processes.
Become a category expert, developing category playbooks and roadmaps to enhance strategic
negotiations and participating in spend analytics and work planning efforts.
Reporting & Training
Utilize project management practices and tools to create, manage, and report on project
progress, ranging from small to multi-million-dollar projects.
Design and develop weekly and monthly operations matrix reports, including spend and SLAs, to
track and communicate performance.
Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities and performance.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within sourcing and
procurement.
Proven track record of successful contract negotiations.
Expertise in the U.S. sourcing and procurement environment is a must.
Advanced level PC skills with knowledge of databases, Windows, and Microsoft
Office products.
Proficiency in MS Office package, especially Outlook and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse groups
of people.
RFP, Contract management, and vendor negotiation experience.
Experience in IT Procurement/Sourcing focused on IT hardware, software, SAAS.
