OVERVIEW
This proposal outlines the engagement of a Strategic Partner (Business Development) to support the growth
and expansion of BLUE STAR ENTERTAINMENT INC.s e-commerce operations. The Strategic Partner
(Business Development) will focus on revenue generation, partnership development, and market expansion
strategies.
II. SCOPE OF WORK
The Strategic Partner (Business Development) will be responsible for:
• Identifying and acquiring new clients, sellers, or partners
• Developing and executing sales strategies to increase online revenue
• Managing key accounts and maintaining strong client relationships
• Negotiating deals, contracts, and partnerships
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activities
• Collaborating with creatives and operations teams to optimize sales performance
III. WORK SET-UP & ARRANGEMENT
• The Strategic Partner (Business Development) shall operate under a flexible, output-
based work arrangement, with no fixed working hours, subject to agreed deliverables
and performance targets.
• The Strategic Partner (Business Development) shall not be required to follow a standard
company work schedule and shall retain full control over the time, place, and manner of
performing the services.
• The engagement shall be conducted on a remote / hybrid / field-based setup, depending
on business needs:
o Remote Work – Majority of tasks performed offsite using digital tools
o Field Work – Client meetings, partner onboarding, and business development
activities
o Optional Onsite Meetings – Attendance at company meetings only when mutually
agreed
• The Strategic Partner (Business Development) shall:
o Provide their own equipment (laptop, mobile phone, internet connection)
o Use their own systems and tools, unless access to company platforms is granted
o The Company may provide access to internal systems strictly for business
purposes.
• The Strategic Partner (Business Development) shall operate with minimal supervision
and shall not be subject to direct control over work methods.
o The Company's role shall be limited to:
▪ Setting targets or expected outputs (1 client /month)
▪ Monitoring results and deliverables
• The Strategic Partner (Business Development) agrees to:
o Provide weekly performance updates
o Attend scheduled check-ins or strategy meetings as needed
o Maintain professional communication with the Company and clients
• Exclusivity: The Strategic Partner (Business Development) shall dedicate services
exclusively to the Company during the term of this Agreement.
• Time Availability: While no fixed schedule is required, the Contractor is expected to:
o Be reasonably available during standard business hours for coordination
o Respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe (w/in 12 hrs. in a day)
• Liquidation of Expenses:
o All operational and travel expenses shall be borne by the Contractor
o Any reimbursable expenses must be pre-approved in writing by the Company
