Job Summary
The Medical Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospital personnel. The role focuses on building strong relationships, increasing product awareness, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote assigned pharmaceutical products to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers
- Conduct regular field visits and organize product presentations
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Ensure proper implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns
- Maintain accurate records of calls, sales, and client interactions
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, distribution, and medical affairs)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or any related field
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales (preferred but not always required)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willing to travel extensively within assigned territory
