About the Role

As Staff Accountant, you'll manage daily bookkeeping and reconciliations, oversee accounts receivable and payable, process payroll, and support month-end and year-end close processes. You'll collaborate directly with operational teams, the Controller, and external partners to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and insight-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Daily QBO bank matching and cash flow tracking
• Record and reconcile AR, AP, credit card, loan, and bank accounts
• Process invoices, payments, payroll, benefits, and credit memos
• Support month-end and year-end close, including reporting and journal entries
• Maintain fixed assets, depreciation, prepaid expenses, and insurance accounting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Prepare internal financial reports and provide documentation for audits and tax filings
• Collaborate across departments to ensure financial data clarity and operational insight
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in Google Drive

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Flourish
• Strong understanding of general ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Accounts payable and receivable experience
• Payroll and benefits accounting knowledge
• Familiarity with month-end and year-end close processes
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently

Pay range and compensation package

$1,700/month base pay

Arizona time zone work schedule, 8 AM 5 PM, fully remote
