Role Summary
This position is responsible for performing the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of small business clients in the United States. This includes guiding clients through set-up of accounting and support software, helping clients understand accounting and tax best practices, maintaining accounting system records, preparing journal entries, analyzing financial reports, and documenting activities through reconciliations and workpapers. To be successful in this role you should have the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities stemming from client needs and requests while maintaining top quality and customer service standards.
LOCATION: Must be residing in the Philippines Remote.
ENVIRONMENT: Philippines and International Teams.

Essential Functions
- Deliver high quality bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients in multiple industries by developing the understanding of various clients business models.
- Support clients through the technical aspects of setting up bank feeds, accounting software connections, and applicable logins.
- Perform routine accounting procedures such as bank, credit card and payroll account reconciliations, fixed asset and depreciation, profit and loss transactions as well as other accounting related functions as requested by clients.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements with supporting reconciliations.
- Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks inclusive of annual filings for 1099's and other misc. filings as needed.
- Communicate open items or anomalies to manager, follow-up to ensure items are fully resolved.
- Produce ad hoc reports for clients and/or management upon request; assist with other special accounting projects as needed.
- Support self-service customers with accounting questions and conduct quarterly analysis for potential errors and recommendations.
- Contributing to department and team projects
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- 3+ years progressive experience performing full charge bookkeeping.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting and/or related field is highly desired
- Experience in a multi-client environment is highly preferred.
- Exceptional organization, oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Extensive knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Online.
- Analytical skills with particular attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, IQ, and EQ
- Ability to work in an autonomous environment where you can be a self-directed, independent worker who can manage multiple projects and deadlines
