Solutions Architect

What You'll Be Doing

As a Solution Architect at Sekuro, you'll play a critical role in shaping the architecture of high-impact projects. Your responsibilities will include:

· Defining Solution Architecture: Craft solution designs for new client projects, balancing business and system requirements within the constraints of cost, timelines, and technical frameworks.

· Technical Leadership: Act as the project's technical authority, guiding the MSS solutions team to ensure alignment with the overall architecture and design objectives.

· Design Management: Lead design governance and change management activities to ensure seamless configuration and adaptability.

· Architecture Development: Capture current (as-is) and future-state (to-be) application, data, and technology architectures across projects.

· Project Planning Support: Work closely with project managers, offering expertise in estimates, schedules, risk identification, and review planning.

· Architecture Review Board: Ensuring solution designs meet client expectations, and working with client Architecture Review Boards and committees.

Who We're Looking For

You'll be a great fit if you:

· Have 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.

· Are skilled in developing comprehensive architectural documents (e.g., Requirements, Solution Designs).

· Bring Security Architecture experience – it's a big bonus!

· Are an expert in client consulting at all levels, from technical teams to executives.

· Have experience with architectural patterns and tools like Draw.io and Visio.

· Have led technical teams on complex tenders, proposals, and large projects.

· Are well-versed in authoring bespoke proposals and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFTs.

· Are a polished communicator, comfortable engaging with engineers, architects, and senior executives.

· Know how to balance strategic objectives with practical execution and will adapt your work practices to meet business goals.

· Have experience working within architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SABSA.

· Thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment with a strong can-do attitude.

What You're Not

· A salesperson – we're seeking an experienced Solution Architect, not a product pusher.

· Poor in communication or abrasive – you'll need exceptional interpersonal skills.

· A Pre-Sales Architect looking for a chance at Solution Architecture – this role is for someone deeply experienced in enterprise solutions, not sales, although you will be working with Pre-Sales Architects.
