The Quality Analyst will be responsible for mainly manual testing using best practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform Functional test, Regression test, Unit test, Performance test and Load test for API, Web application, Database, Web services.
- Maintain the health of the QA, UAT, Training and Demo environment.
- Assure the release process is tightly managed during SDLC cycle.
- Analyze and Inspect business and functional requirements documents and use cases.
- Work effectively with business team, Application support team, and other groups.
- Capture, analyze and own defects through resolution.
- Complete testing effort within timelines and budgets identified by the team.
- Conduct peer reviews of test plans, test procedures, and test scripts.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Experience in planning, documenting, and reviewing test cases/suites.
- Demonstrate functionality, train team members and communicate with Clients.
Qualifications
- Degree: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred major / area of study: Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Number of years of experience: 4 Years and up
- Type of experience: Specializing in back end testing and/or related field
Required Skills
- Experience in testing of large-scale database applications using SQL.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve data, system issues and performance issues.
- Experience in data validation concepts, and SQL validation.
- Experience of Microsoft Test Manager, TFS, Jira, SharePoint.
- Experience in regression, integration, system, stress and performance QA testing.
- Experience in managing software applications, services deployments, and setup and release management.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and able to resolve any technical conflicts.
- Experience with the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), Agile Development Methodology is preferred.
- Need to have Web Services testing/API testing/backend testing experience.
