Role Description
We'relooking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Specialist to own and execute our organic social media presence while also managing light paid social advertising. This role is ideal for someone who loves creating engaging content, understands what performs on different platforms, and can balance creativity with optimization and performance tracking.You'llbe responsible forend-to-end social content, from ideation and creation to publishing, optimization, and performance analysis, while collaborating closely with our SEO & Email Specialist to ensure social content aligns with broader content and demand-generation goals.Additionalduties may involve collaborating with marketing and design teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals, as well as staying informed about emerging trends in digital and social media marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organic Social Media
- Own and manage all organic social media content across relevant platforms
- Create engaging social posts, captions, and campaigns aligned with brand voice and goals
- Design light visual assets for posts using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, or similar
- Publish, schedule, and manage posts consistently according to the Social Content Calendar
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement, escalating as needed
- Track performance andoptimizecontent based on insights and trends
- Content Strategy & Collaboration
- Work alongside the SEO & Email Specialist toidentifyhigh-priority topics and themes
- Contribute to planning andmaintainingthe Social Content Calendar
- Ensure social content supports SEO initiatives, email campaigns, and broader marketing efforts
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
- Paid Social Media
- Manage andoptimizepaid social media campaigns onMeta (Facebook & Instagram)andLinkedIn
- Set up campaigns, audiences, budgets, and creative variations
- Monitor performance, conduct ongoing optimizations, and report on results
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing on paid social strategy and goals
- Reporting & Optimization
- Analyze organic and paid social performance using platform analytics and reporting tools
- Provide regular performance reports with insights and recommendations
- Test new formats, messaging, and audiences to improve reach, engagement, and conversions
Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience managing social media for a brand or agency, and implementing comprehensive Marketing strategies
- Proven experience with organic social content creation and publishing
- Comfort with light graphic design for social posts
- Hands-on experience managing paid social ads on Meta and LinkedIn
- Strong understanding of social media analyticstools,and data-drivenoptimization
- Familiarity with current social media trends and ability to adapt strategies accordingly
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage audiences effectively
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, Email, and Marketing leadership
- Ability to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours consistently
Nice to Have:
- Experience in B2B or professional services marketing
- Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing strategy
- Experience with graphic design or content creation tools is a plus
- Experience A/B testing social creatives and ad copy
