Job Description

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Position Summary

Designs Ligna is seeking a highly creative, organized, and brand-driven Content Manager / Social Media Manager to oversee the company's digital presence across all marketing channels. This role is responsible for planning, creating, coordinating, and publishing content that reflects the quality, craftsmanship, and design philosophy of Designs Ligna, Casa Ligna, and affiliated brands.

The ideal candidate understands luxury furniture, architecture, interiors, craftsmanship, and storytelling, and can translate these into engaging content that strengthens brand awareness, generates inquiries, and supports sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute monthly and quarterly content calendars aligned with business objectives.
  • Create content strategies that support product launches, showroom activities, exhibitions, collaborations, and special projects.
  • Ensure all content consistently reflects the Designs Ligna brand identity, tone, and standards.
  • Coordinate content themes across multiple platforms and brands where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach, and lead generation through digital content.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and maintain the company's social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Schedule, publish, and monitor content across all platforms.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor audience engagement and implement strategies to grow followers and community interaction.
  • Stay updated on platform trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.

Content Creation & Production

  • Develop compelling content including:
  • Photography direction
  • Short form videos and reels
  • Product features
  • Project showcases
  • Designer stories
  • Behind-the-scenes content
  • Educational and industry-related content
  • Coordinate and direct photo and video shoots.
  • Work closely with designers, sales personnel, production staff, and leadership to gather content opportunities.
  • Write captions, articles, newsletters, blog posts, and marketing copy.
  • Ensure all published content is accurate, polished, and aligned with brand standards.

Brand Storytelling

  • Capture and communicate the craftsmanship, materials, design process, and people behind Designs Ligna.
  • Develop content highlighting completed projects, client stories, product development, and company milestones.
  • Maintain a strong visual and narrative consistency across all communication channels.
  • Support the positioning of Designs Ligna as a leading premium furniture and design brand.

Marketing Support

  • Assist in developing marketing campaigns that support retail, hospitality, residential, and trade projects.
  • Support showroom events, product launches, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate content requirements for advertising campaigns and partnerships.
  • Work with sales and management teams to create materials that support business development initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor performance metrics across all digital channels.
  • Track engagement, reach, website traffic, lead generation, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare monthly reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine content strategies and maximize results.

Asset Management

  • Organize and maintain the company's library of photos, videos, drawings, project documentation, and marketing assets.
  • Ensure content files are properly archived and accessible for future use.
  • Coordinate with external photographers, videographers, designers, agencies, and media partners when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, Advertising, Journalism, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in content creation, social media management, digital marketing, or brand communications.
  • Experience in luxury, furniture, interior design, architecture, hospitality, lifestyle, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, or similar platforms.
  • Photography and videography experience is an advantage.
  • Experience managing content calendars and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
