Who are we

Future Glow Philippines (FG PH) is a beauty brand builder and omni-channel distributor specializing in health, beauty, and wellness products. FG PH aims to make beauty accessible to Filipinos through its pillars of Beauty, Health, Dermo, Fashion, FMCG and Retail. FG PH products are available in leading retailers nationwide.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes the internet. This person is obsessed with TikTok, constantly follows breaking news, understands political and cultural conversations, and knows how to turn complex topics into engaging content that people actually want to watch, share, and discuss.

The ideal candidate spends their free time scrolling TikTok, reading the news, tracking trends, and understanding why certain stories capture public attention. They should be highly curious, quick-thinking, and capable of producing content at the speed of the news cycle.

 

What will you do

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute social media strategies focused on news, politics, current affairs, and culture.
  • Identify emerging conversations, issues, and trends before they become mainstream.
  • Create content calendars while remaining flexible for real-time news coverage.
  • Recommend content angles that balance relevance, engagement, and credibility.

Content Creation

  • Write compelling captions, hooks, scripts, and social copy.
  • Produce TikTok-first content that simplifies complex topics.
  • Create explainers, reactions, timelines, summaries, and opinion-led content.
  • Work with editors and creatives to produce short-form videos optimized for engagement.

Community Management

  • Monitor comments and audience sentiment.
  • Engage with followers and encourage meaningful discussion.
  • Escalate sensitive issues and manage potential social media crises.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track content performance across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
  • Analyze audience behavior and recommend improvements.
  • Continuously test hooks, formats, posting schedules, and storytelling approaches.

Who are we looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 2–5 years experience in social media, digital content, journalism, media, political campaigns, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine politics, governance, elections, public policy, and current affairs.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to explain complicated topics in simple, engaging language.
  • Strong fact-checking and research skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Must-Haves

  • TikTok obsessed. You spend hours daily understanding what works on the platform.
  • Constantly updated on local and global news.
  • Can immediately recognize viral content patterns.
  • Understands internet culture, memes, online communities, and digital behavior.
