Job Description

E-commerce Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM PST (with a 1-hour unpaid break)

Salary: $1000 per month

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused E-Commerce Specialist to support and optimize our direct-to-consumer online operations. This role works under the strategic direction of the E-Commerce Manager and is responsible for executing initiatives that drive online sales, improve conversion rates, and enhance overall site performance.

This hands-on position supports daily Shopify store operations, including merchandising, landing page creation, app management to improve customer experience, email marketing campaigns, and SEO optimization. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shopify and Product Management
  • Execute updates to pricing, product listings, homepage content, collections, and landing pages
  • Optimize product listings for SEO and conversions
  • Manage and implement Shopify apps to enhance site functionality and customer experience
  • Conduct Shopify store audits and recommend improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve site issues as needed

Merchandising & Website Optimization

  • Execute merchandising strategies to highlight promotions and key products
  • Build and optimize campaign landing pages
  • Improve user experience and conversion flow through continuous testing and refinement
  • Monitor site performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities

SEO & Site Performance

  • Lead on-page and off-page SEO initiatives, including keyword research, content optimization, and technical improvements
  • Conduct SEO audits and implement action plans
  • Monitor organic traffic, engaged sessions, and conversion metrics
  • Develop and communicate SEO strategies, milestones, and measurable outcomes
  • Continuously improving site performance to drive higher engagement and revenue

Email & SMS Marketing (Klaviyo)

  • Execute email and SMS campaigns and automated flows
  • Segment audiences and test campaigns for formatting, links, and deliverability
  • Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements

Reporting & Communication

  • Build reports that clearly communicate strategies, progress, milestones, and results
  • Provide actionable insights based on data analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design and customer service teams
  • Execute tasks according to SOPs while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Ad Hoc & Growth Support

  • Support additional D2C initiatives as directed
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve user experience, and streamline processes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify (adding products, managing collections, landing pages, and apps).
  • Experience with Klaviyo for email and SMS campaigns, including segmentation, flows, and campaign testing.
  • Understanding of eCommerce best practices, including SEO and site optimization.
  • Ability to follow strategic direction and execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with SOPs and instructions.
  • Proactive and able to identify opportunities to improve sales and user experience.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other analytics tools is a plus.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with initiative and follow-through.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with Google Ads and experience with GA4 (Google Analytics 4)
  • Proven track record of improving engaged sessions, site performance metrics, and increasing conversions

Focus: All tasks are executed under the direction with the goal of increasing conversions and driving revenue.
