About the Role
We are looking for an SEO Engineer to lead and execute high-impact SEO initiatives end-to-end, including emerging areas such as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). This role is responsible for driving measurable organic growth, building scalable SEO systems, and adapting strategies to evolving search behaviors across both traditional search engines and AI-driven platforms. You will work cross-functionally to ensure SEO and GEO become core growth drivers aligned with business objectives.
Responsibility
A. SEO & GEO Strategy Execution
- Identify and execute SEO strategies that drive measurable business impact
- Contribute to GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) initiatives to improve visibility across AI-driven search platforms (e.g., Perplexity, LLM-based search)
- Translate strategies into scalable SOPs and continuously improve execution frameworks
B. Keyword, Intent & Search Behavior
- Own keyword research and uncover high-impact opportunities
- Map search intent across traditional and AI-driven search journeys
- Align keyword and content strategies with funnel stages and business goals
C. Technical SEO Optimization
- Resolve technical SEO issues including indexation, crawlability, and site performance
- Improve Core Web Vitals and overall site health
- Collaborate with developers to implement efficient technical solutions
D. Data Analysis & Performance Tracking
- Track and analyze SEO performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and other tools
- Measure impact across both traditional SEO and emerging GEO channels
- Deliver clear insights, explain performance, and define next actions
E. Backlink & Authority Building
- Build high-quality backlinks using competitor insights and data
- Conduct authority analysis (DA/DR) and ensure link quality
- Identify scalable link-building opportunities
F. Tools, Trends & Continuous Optimization
- Utilize tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and others for execution
- Stay up to date with SEO and GEO trends, including LLM-driven search and platform shifts (Google, TikTok, Instagram)
- Monitor trends, filter noise, and focus on high-impact opportunities
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of driving organic growth
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Familiarity or hands-on exposure to GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) or AI-driven search platforms (e.g., Perplexity, LLM-based tools)
- Experience in e-commerce is required; experience in the beauty industry is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Google Search Console
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
