Job Title: SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist

Location: Fully Remote, Philippines

Rate: $6 - $8 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description

As an SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist, your role will be centered on technical website audits, content optimization, long-form content creation, keyword research, and search performance improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Strong background in keyword research, on-page SEO, and content strategy
  • Familiarity with technical SEO and site auditing tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
  • Experience building local citations and backlinks
  • Strong copywriting skills (blogs, service pages, GBP posts)
  • Data-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits for redesigned or underperforming websites
  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues including crawlability, indexing, site structure, metadata, page speed, and on-page optimization
  • Develop SEO strategies aligned with client goals and performance metrics
  • Convert YouTube video content into long-form SEO-optimized blog posts with research, visuals, and structured formatting
  • Research and write blog articles based on trending news topics for Google Discover and Google News optimization
  • Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis
  • Optimize website content for search rankings and user engagement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain publishing schedules
  • Monitor SEO performance and provide actionable insights
  • Support SEO initiatives for the company's internal website as needed

Successful candidates for this role are expected to possess the following attributes:

  • Must have excellent English communication skills.
  • Has the ability to complete projects in a timely manner and quickly adjust to changing circumstances and embrace new technologies, processes, or methods.
  • Great logical and verbal reasoning skills.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and information-processing skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
  • A great work ethic and interest in learning new concepts and growing with the job.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have their own work device (preferably a desktop or laptop) and a stable internet connection.
  • Must be comfortable with using a time-tracking software for payroll purposes.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background verification check during the final stages of the hiring process.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:

  • A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
  • A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
  • A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
  • Healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.
  • Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of work, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
