Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Expertise
    • Act as a subject-matter expert when it comes to building an online presence through SEO
    • Serve as the designated QA of the team for specific SEO tasks and projects
    • Propose high-level strategic recommendations that go beyond the technical aspect of SEO execution
    • Analyze the client's online presence vis-à-vis SEO trends to come up with custom-tailored, best-in-class service for each project
  • Client Delivery & Execution
    • Assess a client's website and other online activities to propose actionable strategies covering content, user behavior/experience, and technical aspects of SEO
    • Handle VIP and Escalated clients—determine the best action plan to ensure client objectives are met and concerns are addressed/resolved
    • Set proper and realistic expectations to clients regarding rankings, traffic, lead generation and conversion. There will be no room for overpromising and under delivering
  • Technical SEO Deliverables
    • Website audits
    • Competitor and keyword analysis
    • On-page SEO optimization
    • AEO (Answer/AI Engine Optimization)/GEO
    • Keywords and topics proposal
    • Content plan/structure creation
    • Schema markup implementation
    • Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Bing Webmaster tools setup
    • Local search setup
    • Link building campaigns
    • Benchmark, performance and work reports
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Coordinate with project managers, developers, and content writers to assign and actively communicate updates on various SEO tasks
    • Create, maintain and improve web analytics dashboards, progress reports and reporting tools
    • Highlight key areas of opportunity in accordance with client goals and objectives
    • Continuous Improvement & Growth
    • Monitor the performance of client's SEO campaign, contribute professional insights and develop plans to capitalize on growth opportunities
    • Stay updated on search engine updates and SEO trends; communicate these to clients and our team
    • Research, document and maintain SEO best practices and develop processes throughout the company
    • Contribute passion and ongoing knowledge of digital marketing as a key team member
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+years of hands-on SEO experience
  • Strong familiarity with WordPress dashboard and content management
  • HTML skills and website maintenance capabilities (highly preferred)
  • PPC and Social Media experience (plus, but not required)
  • Excellent project and account management skills
  • Strong experience with industry standard tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, BrightLocal/Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, HubSpot, etc.
  • Personal Attributes
  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Experience working with teams and coordinating with team leads and department heads
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Excellent English speaking skills, neutral accent preferred
