About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support and enhance enterprise technology solutions across a global environment. This role combines identity management, cloud infrastructure, systems administration, and technical leadership, making it ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and collaborating with teams worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and support enterprise platforms including Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure, and/or AWS.
- Act as a Level 3 escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Support infrastructure deployments, upgrades, maintenance, and monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver strategic technology initiatives and projects.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Engage with global stakeholders and provide technical guidance and updates.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles, preferably within an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
- Experience managing and supporting Azure or AWS cloud environments (experience with both is a plus).
- Experience supporting business-critical, 24/7 environments, including on-call or escalation rotations.
- Experience serving as a technical escalation point and/or mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Certifications- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate or Solutions Architect Associate
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
