We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale, high-profile development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage structural design teams, including engineers and draftsmen, through direct supervision, mentoring, and leadership.
- Perform full structural design, including stability analysis, foundation design, and reinforced concrete slab design, in accordance with local and international codes.
- Develop structural models using design software and perform calculations for loads, stresses, and forces affecting structural components such as beams, columns, walls, and foundations.
- Coordinate with architects and MEP engineers to ensure safe and efficient designs aligned with project aesthetics.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards for all structural deliverables.
- Review and monitor work completed by sub-consultants and specialty engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Provide technical support to site teams and contractors to resolve construction-related challenges.
- Review and validate design drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP, PROKON, RAM Concept, ADAPT, and MS Excel
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
- 10–15 years of experience in structural design of building structures
- Site experience is an added advantage
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE
