Job Title: Senior Strategic Planner

Job Overview:

DDB MNL is looking for a Strategic Planner / Senior Strategic Planner who can turn consumer insights into powerful brand and campaign strategies. This role works closely with the creative, account, and client teams to develop clear strategic directions that inspire impactful advertising campaigns across multiple channels.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious about people, culture, and behavior, and can translate complex information into meaningful insights that drive strong creative work and business results.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop brand positioning and communication strategies grounded in strong consumer insights.

-Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience analysis to uncover actionable insights.

-Translate business challenges into clear strategic direction for creative teams.

Write strategic briefs that inspire compelling creative work.

-Present strategies and insights to internal teams and clients in a clear and persuasive manner.

-Lead strategy development for assigned projects from briefing to final recommendation.

-Take ownership of projects by proactively managing timelines, deliverables, and next steps.

-Collaborate with creative, account, and client teams to ensure alignment with brand strategy.

-Identify cultural trends and consumer behaviors that can strengthen brand communication.

-Guide creative development to ensure outputs remain aligned with the strategic direction and campaign objectives.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Research, or related field.

-Background in consumer research, behavioral insights, or brand strategy is an advantage.

-Minimum of 5 years experience as a Brand Strategist, Strategic Planner, or Creative Strategist.

-Experience working in a full-service or integrated (360°) advertising agency.

-Proven experience developing campaign strategies, brand positioning, and communication frameworks.

-Experience presenting strategies to internal teams and clients.

-Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

-Ability to translate consumer insights into strategic direction

-Strong storytelling and presentation skills

-Experience in consumer research and market analysis

-Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear insights

-Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

-Proficiency in developing strategic decks and communication frameworks
