The Role at a Glance
Be part of our client's team as an Sr Tax Accountant , where you'll prepare and manage SMSF financial statements, handle workpapers, process real-time financial data, and communicate with clients. You'll ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality documentation while contributing your expertise to support seamless superannuation accounting and advisory outcomes.

What Sets You Up for Success - Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Business, majoring in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Class Super (required)
- Advanced-level Class Super expertise
- Experience in public practice accounting with a strong focus on superannuation, or experience in a Superannuation Administration Firm
- Knowledge of BAS and GST
- Experience in pension maintenance and contribution allocations
- Strong real-time data entry and workpaper management skills
- Fluent spoken English (advantageous)
- Strong stakeholder management skills with flexibility to handle ad-hoc tasks
- Experience in an outsourced environment, preferably with an Australian accounting firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What You'll Be Doing - Prepare SMSF financial statements and associated documentation, including pension minutes and member statement balances
- Handle workpaper preparation
- Send queries to clients for additional information or documents
- Process real-time financial data
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Maintain high standards in administration and document handling
