Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support both daily IT operations and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of enterprise network environments across multiple sites and data centers.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems, while also contributing to ongoing improvements and expansion initiatives aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations & Support
- Manage day-to-day network operations, ensuring high availability and performance
- Provide remote administration, troubleshooting, and timely issue resolution
- Handle IT support tickets (incidents and service requests) within defined SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
Installation, Integration & Expansion
- Deploy, configure, and integrate network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
- Plan and execute network expansion to support business growth
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and transformation projects
Monitoring & Maintenance
- Proactively monitor network performance using monitoring tools
- Perform regular system updates, patching, and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with network security standards and best practices
Data Center & Infrastructure Support
- Maintain and optimize data center network connectivity
- Support enterprise-level network environments across multiple locations
Documentation & Governance
- Maintain accurate network documentation (diagrams, configurations, procedures)
- Contribute to operational standards, policies, and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering or administration within a global environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale network infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools
- Experience handling both network operations and project delivery
- Exposure to international environments (e.g., Europe region support)
- Experience with F5, Netscaler, NAC (scripts & templates), Azure/GCP cloud
- Experience supporting 24/7 operations environments
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- CCNP certification is required
Technical Skills & Core Competencies
- Data Center Networking: Cisco ACI (Micro-Segmentation – required); Experience managing large-scale environments (500+ devices)
- Routing & Switching: Cisco switching and routing platforms
- Security & Firewalls: Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer); Cisco Firepower
- Load Balancing: F5, Citrix NetScaler
- Wireless Networking: Cisco Meraki / Juniper
- Cloud Networking: Microsoft Azure (VNet, NSG, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute); Exposure to GCP is a plus
- Network Access Control: HPE / Aruba ClearPass (RADIUS, 802.1x)
Work Setup & Schedule
- Location / Setup: hybrid setup (approximately 4 onsite days per month) at Trafalgar Plaza Condo, Makati
- Preference for candidates based in or near Makati and open to flexible work arrangements
- Work Schedule: Shifting schedule, including Philippine public holidays and weekends, to support global operations
