About the Role

Supports the Strategy and Customer Segments Head in planning, leading, organizing, controlling direction, and implementing strategies & initiatives to acquire new customers, improve bank partner penetration & customer persistency, and maximize the customer lifetime value of the mass market segment portfolio.
The High Value market segment includes: BPIs Preferred Segment, which includes Next and Gold clients, and Private Wealth Segments.
The Head will be responsible for:
1. the ability of the distribution channels to cater to its customers and bank partners
2. ensuring that product and service offerings are relevant
3. keeping all needed and provided support at optimal levels

Roles and Responsibilities:

Performs any or all of the following in various degrees according to the position's job level:

  • Constructs segment initiatives and activities, including but not limited to, recommending product concepts and develop packaging/positioning materials for the segment
  • Ensures optimal number of relevant and quality leads for sales channels to achieve monthly and annual targets
  • Coordinates and collaborates with the appropriate BPI AIA and AIA PH units to ensure delivery of tasks.
  • Develops and implements client and distribution engagement activities for the segment
  • Liaise with Bank segment team and bancassurance team for alignment of programs and activities
  • Monitors, analyzes and makes recommendations on the production performance of the segment
  • Manages special projects designed to improve business development processes.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Education - Graduate of any 4-year college course preferably from a reputable university
  • Experience - At least 4 years of relevant work experience in the area of Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Training in the life insurance/ bancassurance industry banking experience an advantage
  • Certifications/licenses - MBA &/or FLMI an advantage
  • Special skills - Excellent Analytical Skills, Communication Skills (Oral and Written), Presentation Skills, Relationship Management Skills, Events Management, Project Management, Working knowledge on MS Office particularly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Creativity
