The Senior Manager for Clinical Operations (USRN) is responsible for leading and managing clinical and healthcare business process management teams, with direct oversight of Utilization Management (UM), Case Management, and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) functions. This role sets team direction, ensures operational effectiveness, and drives execution of departmental priorities to meet business and clinical objectives.
The Manager is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors and may oversee the work of other supervisors. The scope of impact is primarily at the local level, with decisions affecting multiple employee groups and internal or external customers.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership & Team Management
- Manage and be accountable for the performance of professional staff and/or supervisors.
- Lead teams of approximately 50 FTEs, ensuring productivity, engagement, and quality outcomes.
- Set clear team direction, provide ongoing coaching, and resolve performance or operational issues.
- May oversee and coordinate work activities of other supervisors.
- Model personal leadership, executive presence, and a strong customer-oriented mindset.
Clinical & Operational Management
- Oversee Utilization Management, Case Management, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and related healthcare business process management activities.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve operational and process challenges affecting team or cross-functional performance.
- Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address evolving business needs and operational challenges.
Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Contribute to forecasting, capacity planning, and operational planning activities.
- Translate business strategies into actionable team plans and measurable outcomes.
- Influence process improvements, service enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
- Make product, service, or process decisions that impact multiple groups of employees and/or customers.
Stakeholder Partnership & Change Leadership
- Build credibility and partner effectively with clinical, operational, and business leaders.
- Communicate strategies, priorities, and results clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Champion continuous improvement and organizational change initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Utilization Management, Case Management, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and Healthcare Business Process Management.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity, managing professional staff and/or supervisors.
- Proven experience leading teams of approximately 50 FTEs.
- Relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, product management, or general management within a healthcare-related field.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility, partner with senior leaders, and exhibit executive presence.
- Proven ability to articulate business strategies and develop clear, concise solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to champion continuous change, consult with versatility, and model strong personal leadership.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to deliver results in a matrixed, fast-paced environment with high levels of change and ambiguity.
Work Details
- Willingness to be assigned to any Philippine site: Makati, Alabang, Quezon City, or McKinley.
- Willing to work on a US shift.
- Hybrid work setup, with willingness to report onsite as required.
