Role Overview

The Senior Manager Compensation & Benefits (C&B) is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation structures and benefits programs that align with business strategy and market standards. This role ensures internal equity, external competitiveness, and regulatory compliance while driving employee engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and manage salary structures, grading frameworks, and pay policies.
  • Lead annual merit increase cycles, promotions, and bonus planning.
  • Conduct job evaluations and salary benchmarking using market data.
  • Partner with leadership on compensation budgeting and workforce planning.
  • Provide analytics and insights on compensation trends, attrition, and cost optimization.

Benefits Management

  • Review, design, and enhance employee benefits programs (HMO, insurance, allowances, leave policies, etc.).
  • Ensure benefits competitiveness while maintaining cost-efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships and benefits renewals.
  • Conduct employee education sessions on benefits programs.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and update C&B policies and guidelines.
  • Support internal and external audits related to compensation and benefits.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and develop the C&B team.
  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders on reward strategies.
  • Act as subject matter expert for all compensation-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 810 years of C&B experience, with at least 35 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and compensation practices.
  • Experience in BPO or multinational environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
