Role Overview
The IT Senior Manager will lead and oversee the IT operations, infrastructure, and end-user support functions at eClerx Manila. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT environment while aligning technology initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can manage both people and processes, ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations and driving technology improvements across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the IT team responsible for desktop support, infrastructure, network, and systems administration.
- Oversee IT operations to ensure maximum system uptime and performance across all business units.
- Develop and implement IT policies, processes, and best practices aligned with global standards and compliance requirements.
- Manage IT projects including system upgrades, hardware refresh, and new technology deployments.
- Collaborate with regional/global IT counterparts to align site technology initiatives with enterprise objectives.
- Ensure strong IT governance and compliance with information security standards and audit requirements.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of IT assets and services.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance user experience, system efficiency, and operational resilience.
- Coach and develop IT team members to build technical expertise and leadership capability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 810 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership capacity.
- Strong background in IT infrastructure management, network administration, and end-user support.
- Proven experience managing IT operations in a BPO, shared services, or multinational setup.
- Deep understanding of information security, compliance, and risk management principles.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Certification such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP is a strong plus.
