About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager (710 years of experience) to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, including system migrations, integrations, and large-scale implementations. This role requires a strong, decisive leader who can drive delivery, set clear expectations, and effectively manage stakeholders at all levels.
You will be working on behalf of an external vendor, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. We're seeking someone with excellent decision-making skills, ownership, and the ability to keep projects moving forward even in challenging conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, from planning through execution and closure.
- Manage migration, integration, and system implementation projects.
- Define and establish project requirements, scope, timelines, and success criteria.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and issues, and proactively develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure transparent communication and reporting to clients and internal leadership.
- Drive project progress, remove blockers, and maintain high accountability.
- Oversee project budget, resource planning, and vendor coordination.
Requirements
- 710 years of experience in project management, ideally in diverse industries (non-banking).
- Proven experience in migration, integration, and system implementation projects.
- Experience managing projects from the perspective of an external vendor or consulting partner.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to make decisions, challenge assumptions, and push projects forward.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving minds
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus.
