Job Description

Role: Senior Graphic Designer

Contract: Full-time Remote Contractor (40 hours weekly / 160 hours monthly)

Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM PST

Rate: $8 - $13.75 USD hourly / $1,280 - $2,200 USD monthly (Salary negotiable based on experience and location)

Availability to Start: Immediately

What You'll Do

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will support the Creative and Marketing teams by designing high-quality visual assets across digital and print channels. Success in this role requires strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects from concept through final production. You will work closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to deliver on-brand work across various channels, including websites, email campaigns, social media, digital advertising, presentations, and packaging, ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards and timelines. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Creative Design & Brand Execution

  • Design high-quality digital and print marketing materials, including websites, landing pages, emails, presentations, social media, digital advertising, and packaging.
  • Develop graphical elements for assigned projects from concept through final execution.
  • Deliver marketing design work that is engaging, accurate, and impactful across initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across devices, channels, brands, and sub-brands.
  • Uphold and apply design standards and brand guidelines across all creative outputs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Marketing team to align on creative direction and priorities.
  • Present, review, and refine design concepts with the Creative Director prior to final production.
  • Incorporate feedback effectively while maintaining high design standards and creative integrity.

Project Ownership and Production Management

  • Maintain ownership of projects through final execution, including quality assurance, revisions, and production sign-off.
  • Manage workload in alignment with production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality, brand, and production standards before release.
  • Ensure department projects and initiatives align with established policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Implement and maintain departmental design standards, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency.
  • Execute all work in accordance with established organizational procedures and guidelines.
  • Support ad hoc, project-based design assignments as needed.

What You Should Have

Must-haves:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience in Graphic Design or related field experience with 5+ years of related work experience in Digital Design required.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a global, remote, or virtual environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Extensive Photoshop experience required, including complex retouching and image manipulation.
  • Strong experience designing for responsive websites, landing pages, HTML emails, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience designing for e-commerce platforms and digital customer journeys.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and current digital best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in typography, layout, composition, color theory, and information design.
  • Up to date with mobile, web, and digital design trends.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end design projects, from concept through final execution, including QA and production sign-off.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working within structured production schedules.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ProofHub, Wrike, Workfront) and digital asset management (DAM) workflows, including keywording and asset organization.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, collaborative, cross-functional team environments.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work, manage competing demands, and maintain accountability for deliverables.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with AI image and video generation is a plus.
  • Multimedia/motion graphics design or video editing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
  • Experience working with partner portals, PRM platforms, CMS, or DAM systems for managing and distributing marketing assets.
