Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila
Work Setup: Hybrid (3 Onsite at Gateway, Cubao)
Schedule: Morning Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in data architecture and engineering to support technical engagements and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust data systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms
- Lead and contribute to solution architecture and technical discussions
- Implement best practices for data quality, security, and performance
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Support and improve development and deployment environments
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in software development and data engineering
- Data Engineering Skills:
- Strong experience with data warehousing and analytics solutions
- Proficiency in Python, Spark, and DBT
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling, Data Vault 2.0)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (minimum 3 years preferred)
- Cloud & Tools:
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with modern data formats (Delta Tables, Apache Iceberg, Parquet)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, MLOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
