Role Overview
The Senior Compliance Officer supports the implementation and execution of the Bank's Compliance Program, with a focus on Related Party Transactions (RPT). The role involves identifying, monitoring, and mitigating regulatory risks, advising business units on compliance matters, and coordinating with regulators to ensure adherence to applicable laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue compliance advisories and provide regulatory guidance to business and support units
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on the Bank
- Identify, assess, and manage compliance and regulatory risks
- Coordinate remediation of compliance findings and regulatory issues
- Support regulatory examinations and manage responses to regulators
- Prepare internal and external regulatory reports
- Oversee implementation of the Related Party Transactions Policy
- Administer RPT systems and conduct compliance training and awareness sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field
- 5–8 years experience in banking compliance, regulatory affairs, risk, or audit
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and governance standards
- Experience dealing with regulators and compliance reviews
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
