Job Description

The Senior Business Development Officer helps grow Global-Link MP's trade exhibitions by turning good conversations into real, successful events. This role is all about building strong partnerships, creating solid proposals, and making sure what's sold is delivered smoothly on the ground.

You'll work closely with leadership and different teams across the companyconnecting the dots from idea, to proposal, to show day. If you enjoy working with people, spotting opportunities, and seeing projects come to life, this role's for you.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Revenue

  • Manage the sales pipeline for assigned events and keep things moving toward targets
  • Share regular updates on sales performance and revenue projections with leadership
  • Spot gaps early and help bring accounts back or open up new revenue opportunities

Clients & Partnerships

  • Create and present customized proposals that actually make sense for clients and partners
  • Build long-term relationships with associations, government agencies, embassies, and corporate partners
  • Be the go-to person for key accounts and make sure partnerships stay strong and growing

Working With the Team

  • Coordinate closely with Marketing, Production, and Logistics so what's promised gets delivered properly
  • Help improve sales processes to make client onboarding smoother and more efficient

On-Site & Industry Insight

  • Support on-ground event execution to ensure all sales and partnership commitments are met
  • Keep an eye on market and competitor trends to spot new opportunities
  • At a senior level, guide and support junior team members so everyone hits their goals

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, exhibitions, events, or B2B sales
  • Background in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field
  • Comfortable creating proposals and coordinating with multiple teams
  • Understands how trade exhibitions workfrom planning to show days
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and confident dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Clear, confident communicator (written and spoken)
