Job Summary
The Senior Business Development Manager leads the strategic growth initiatives across partnerships, revenue generation, branding, and product commercialization. This role requires a commercially sharp leader who can identify new opportunities, build strategic alliances, strengthen market presence, and help shape products based on customer and market demand.
The incumbent will play a critical role in expanding the business, and ensuring products remain competitive and relevant in the market.
Job Responsibilities
Enterprise & Revenue Growth
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
- Build strong pipelines across enterprise, channel, and strategic accounts.
- Achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Negotiate contracts, commercials, and partnership terms.
- Expand into new markets, segments, and verticals.
Strategic Partnership
- Build relationships with banks, FinTechs, merchants, aggregators, corporate clients, and ecosystem partners.
- Create creative collaborations that generate revenue and strategic advantage.
- Manage partner performance and long-term growth plans.
Product Growth and Commercialization
- Work closely with Product teams to translate market opportunities into product enhancements or new offerings.
- Provide customer and partner feedback to improve product-market fit.
- Support go-to-market launches, pricing strategy, and product adoption plans.
- Identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities through current products.
- Monitor competitor products and recommend innovation opportunities.
Branding and Market Position
- Strengthen company visibility and reputation in target markets.
- Partner with Marketing to execute brand-building campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.
- Represent the company in industry events, networking forums, conferences, and client presentations.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across business channels and external stakeholders.
- Gather market insights to improve brand perception and competitiveness.
Leadership and Cross Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Tech teams.
- Lead strategic projects from concept to execution.
- Present opportunities and business cases to leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or related field.
- 10+ years experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, Brand, or Product Growth roles.
- Progressive leadership experience.
- Strong track record in revenue generation and strategic partnerships.
- Experience in fintech, consumer finance, tech, or high-growth sectors preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Must be amenable to work on-site in Ortigas, Pasig City.
