POSITION: SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER
SALARY: PHP100,000 - PHP120,000 (NEGOTIABLE)
WORK SET-UP: FULL ON-SITE
WORK SCHEDULE: MON-FRI (9AM-6PM)
LOCATION: PASEO DE ROXAS, LEGAZPI VILLAGE, BRGY. LORENZO, MAKATI CITY
We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant Manager to lead our accounting operations, oversee bookkeeping activities, and ensure full compliance with taxation and financial reporting requirements. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in general accounting, bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial analysis, and the ability to manage accounting processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting and bookkeeping operations
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintenance of accounting records
- Handle tax compliance, including preparation and filing of BIR returns and other government reportorial requirements
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and financial institutions
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff and support their professional development
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and internal controls
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- CPA license is required and BOA/BIR accreditation is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong background in bookkeeping, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance
- Knowledgeable in BIR regulations, payroll processing, and government remittances
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
