Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the full accounting function of the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient accounting operations that support overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and reviews
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasts
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred or required depending on company standards
- At least 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Philippine financial reporting standards and tax regulations
- Experience in handling full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail, distribution, or trading industry is an advantage
- Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
