Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Maintain effective internal controls and safeguard company assets

Process Improvement and Change Management

  • Lead finance-related process improvements and system enhancement initiatives
  • Support implementation of new systems, processes, and organizational changes
  • Work with different departments to improve operational efficiency
  • Assist in developing and implementing change management plans
  • Provide guidance and support to teams during transitions and improvements
  • Monitor effectiveness of implemented changes and recommend adjustments when needed

Leadership and Stakeholder Management

  • Support senior management on finance-related matters
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration
  • Help mentor and guide team members while promoting continuous improvement and professional growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferably with a

master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA).

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or a related field in General Insurance,

with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in managing change initiatives, including system implementations and process redesign.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and

other financial tools.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all

levels.

  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
