Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain effective internal controls and safeguard company assets
Process Improvement and Change Management
- Lead finance-related process improvements and system enhancement initiatives
- Support implementation of new systems, processes, and organizational changes
- Work with different departments to improve operational efficiency
- Assist in developing and implementing change management plans
- Provide guidance and support to teams during transitions and improvements
- Monitor effectiveness of implemented changes and recommend adjustments when needed
Leadership and Stakeholder Management
- Support senior management on finance-related matters
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Help mentor and guide team members while promoting continuous improvement and professional growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferably with a
master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or a related field in General Insurance,
with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing change initiatives, including system implementations and process redesign.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and
other financial tools.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all
levels.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
