- 11:00pm to 8:00am – Mondays to Friday (Maybe allowed to transition to overlapping hours - 4:00am to 1:00pm PH, Tue to Sat, after 3 months)

JOB OVERVIEW
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the SVP, Finance, this individual will own the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations of the business — from accounts payable and customer billing through month-end close, commission calculations, revenue contract entry, and internal financial reporting. This is a hands-on role well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and takes pride in clean books and accurate financials.
What you'll be doin
Bookkeeping & Accounts Payable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books in Rillet on a daily basis.
- Process vendor invoices in Ramp, code expenses to the appropriate GL accounts, and manage the AP inbox.
- Prepare and execute timely vendor payments via Ramp and reconcile AP aging reports
- Monitor and categorize corporate card transactions in Ramp and employee expense submissions.
Customer Billing & Revenue
- Generate and send customer invoices via Stripe in accordance with executed contracts.
- Track and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances in Stripe and Rillet.
- Enter new and amended revenue contracts into Rillet, ensuring accurate recognition schedules in compliance with ASC 606.
- Apply the five-step ASC 606 revenue recognition model to new and modified customer contracts, including identification of performance obligations and transaction price allocation.
- Maintain deferred revenue schedules and ensure revenue is recognized in the correct period.
- Partner with the Sales and Customer Success teams to resolve billing inquiries and review contract terms for revenue recognition implications.
Month-End Close
- Prepare and book standard monthly journal entries (accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, and other adjustments)
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for all key accounts and investigate and resolve variances.
- Calculate and process monthly sales commissions in Excel in coordination with the Sales team.
- Support a timely and accurate month-end close process Financial Reporting.
- Compile internal monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for SVP, Finance review.
- Prepare supporting schedules and commentary to accompany the financial package.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by Finance leadership.
What will make you a great fit
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS or technology company
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and accrual-basis accounting, including ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Demonstrated experience applying ASC 606 to subscription or SaaS contracts, including multi-element arrangements and deferred revenue
- Hands-on experience with Rillet or a comparable cloud-based GL (NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, or similar)
- Proficiency with Stripe for billing and AR, or equivalent billing platform experience
- Experience with Ramp or a comparable AP and expense management platform
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including commission modeling and reconciliation workbooks
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet recurring deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with sales commission calculation and variable compensation plans
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA license
