Job Description

Job Overview:

Senior Associate – Accounting & Financial Operations is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of a multi-entity residential home improvement company specializing in Roofing, Windows, Siding, Baths, Doors, and Gutters. This role serves as the primary accounting resource, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, cash management, job costing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll support, and monthly financial reporting.

The ideal candidate possesses extensive QuickBooks Online expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This individual will collaborate closely with leadership and operational teams, utilizing systems such as QuickBooks Online, LeadPerfection CRM, ADP Payroll, vendor portals, and banking platforms to maintain complete financial visibility and support informed business decisions.

This position requires a proactive professional who can perform accrual-based accounting, oversee historical data cleanup initiatives, integrate operational and financial data, manage profitability reporting, and provide timely insights into cash flow and business performance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting environments.
  • Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with LeadPerfection CRM or similar contractor CRM systems.
  • Experience supporting ADP payroll processes.
  • Experience in construction, home improvement, roofing, remodeling, or contractor accounting.
  • Knowledge of job costing and project-based accounting.
  • Experience with cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with commission calculations and 1099 contractor management.
