About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to own core month-end close processes, technical accounting schedules, and reconciliations. This role requires a strong general accounting background and hands-on NetSuite expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the month-end close checklist, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule across the team
• Prepare and maintain rollforwards for key balance sheet accounts (e.g., fixed assets, accrued liabilities, reserves, prepaid expenses)
• Calculate, record, and reconcile monthly accruals
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner
• Maintain and troubleshoot accounting workflows within NetSuite, including journal entries, account mapping, and reporting
• Support the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting
• Assist with audit requests, providing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation as needed
• Identify opportunities to streamline close processes and strengthen internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive general accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in NetSuite (required)
• Demonstrated experience building and managing rollforwards and accruals
• Experience owning or building a month-end close checklist/process
• Solid understanding of US GAAP
• Strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• CPA or CPA track a plus, but not required
• Dental or healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required
