Your ownership of Procure-to-Pay and month-end close directly safeguards reporting accuracy, audit readiness, and executive decision-making. Shift: Night Shift (US California hours, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST, Monday to Friday) | Weekends Off

The Qualifications We Seek

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in US-based companies, including at least five years of solid Accounts Payable experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • Strong foundational knowledge of US GAAP; CPA designation preferred
  • Experience supporting or managing external audit processes
  • Background in fast-paced startup environments preferred

Technical and System Proficiency

  • Proficiency in core accounting software such as QuickBooks or Oracle and Accounts Payable systems such as Airbase or Bill.com
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong technical capability with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize financial systems independently

Professional Skills & Work Environment

  • Deadline-driven with strong ownership and accountability for accurate and timely task completion
  • High attention to detail with proven problem-solving capability while managing competing priorities
  • Strong and proactive communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders
  • Availability to work US California hours, Monday to Friday
  • Reliable primary and backup internet connection with minimum speed of 20 Mbps

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage all aspects of the Procure-to-Pay process, including Accounts Payable, weekly payment runs, corporate credit cards, employee reimbursements, and vendor bill processing
  • Execute the month-end close process, including balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entry posting, and preparation of supporting schedules
  • Evaluate and implement new financial tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure internal finance policies and related communications remain current and compliant
  • Collaborate on projects and ad-hoc reporting with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, Engineering, and Customer Support
