The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting & finance consulting firm. Our firm serves clients by providing various bookkeeping, finance and accounting services as needed by our clients. This role will interact with clients to assist and support them with traditional bookkeeping, finance and accounting tasks. The industries represented by the client portfolio include consumer packaged goods (CPG) and medical services/scheduling.
This role is ideal for a proactive professional who has strong technical accounting skills, inventory accounting experience, and the ability to manage daily finance/accounting tasks while also providing strategic insight. The Senior Accountant will own bookkeeping, monthly close & financial reporting, inventory accounting, other tasks as needed for a portfolio of clients.
WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Central Standard Time (5:00 AM 2:00 PM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

Essential Functions
- Perform general ledger accounting including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare and review internal financial reports and assist with external reporting as needed
- Manage and improve inventory accounting processes and ensure accuracy of cost of goods sold
- Invoice customers based on physicians scheduled for services
- Process physician payroll based on customer invoices
- Customer and physician reporting, specifically around gross margins and utilization
- Applying cash receipts to customer payments based on invoice details
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed to ensure compliance and support audits for clients
- Update of cash flow forecasts to support strategic planning
- Utilize Excel for financial modeling, variance analysis, and data management
- Maintain and enhance workflows in Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar accounting systems
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior inventory accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and modeling
- Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite (required) and Xero and/or QuickBooks Online
- Experience with payroll systems such as Gusto, ADP, etc. a plus
- Proven experience with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold tracking
- Experience within the beauty industry (CPG) and healthcare industry is a plus
- Experience with audit and tax processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and priorities effectively
