What You'll Do
Financial Closing & Reporting
- Lead month‑end and year‑end close for assigned APAC entities
- Prepare complex journal entries and perform GL reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP and Group accounting standards
- Deliver accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
Tax & Compliance
- Support income tax computations and statutory tax filings
- Work with local tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate compliance
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulatory requirements
Payroll & Balance Sheet Management
- Manage internal payroll for Philippines entities
- Coordinate payroll across multiple APAC countries with external providers
- Prepare and review balance sheet schedules and investigate variances
Audit & Internal Controls
- Act as the key point of contact for internal and external auditors
- Ensure strong internal controls and documentation across entities
Treasury & Approvals
- Review and approve bank payment transactions with complete documentation
Process Improvements & Systems
- Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiency
- Contribute to ERP enhancements and accounting procedure development
Collaboration & Leadership
- Guide and support junior accountants
- Work with cross‑functional teams across the region
What We're Looking For
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent professional qualification highly preferred
Experience
- 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- At least 2 years in a senior accounting role
- Multinational experience; APAC exposure strongly preferred
- Strong background in closing, reconciliations, audits, and tax compliance
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, LOOKUP functions, complex formulas)
