Job Description

Job Overview:

The Senior Associate is a key support person for the client's bookkeeping and other ad hoc tasks

Work Schedule:

  • 9:00am to 6:00pm

Work Setup:

  • Hybrid

Office Assignment:

  • MAKATI OFFICE: 22F Tower 1, One Ayala Corporate Center, Ayala Ave., Makati City

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare payroll including deductions, redundancies and declaration of PAYG Withholding for large withholders.
  • Prepare month end processes including depreciation, prepayments, accruals, intergroup invoices, and workpapers to reconcile all accounts.
  • Prepare business activity statements and payroll tax returns.
  • Manage clients directly where possible in respect of the collection of information, queries and delivery of month end accounts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably a CPA
  • Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience in the Australian bookkeeping
  • Demonstrated month end accounting skills
  • Demonstrated payroll processing skills
  • Understanding the critical nature of payroll and its fixed deadlines
  • Ability to use, navigate and troubleshoot common client accounting software packages (ie Quickbooks, NetSuite, Xero)
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to integrate with a team and collaborate effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively
  • Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and tailoring service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work with multiple entities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite
