The Service Delivery Engineer supports the secure delivery of internal and external cybersecurity
solutions and services by performing technical assessments, risk analysis, and solution deployment.
The role works closely with stakeholders to identify security needs, assess vulnerabilities, and assist
in implementing and operationalizing security controls. It also involves preparing technical
documentation, supporting training, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
To succeed in this role, the Service Delivery Engineer must possess strong analytical, technical, and
communication skills, along with a continuous drive to stay updated with emerging security
technologies and practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Technical Assessment & Discovery
Participate in discovery sessions to understand technical requirements and existing
security architectures.
Assist in documenting customer requirements and mapping them to security solutions
and/or other security controls.
2. Security Risk Analysis Execution
Perform in-depth security risk assessments using approved tools, frameworks, and
methodologies.
Help identify technical vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential threat vectors in
customer or internal environments.
Collaborate with security architects, SOC, and other SMEs to validate findings.
3. Reporting & Recommendations
Contribute to the development of risk reports, especially technical findings, risk impact
analysis, and control recommendations.
Translate technical assessments into business-understandable language for inclusion in
reports.
4. Technical Deployment & Integration
Provide assistance with the configuration, deployment, and integration of security
solutions and shared services according to implementation plans.
Assist with the troubleshooting of technical issues during rollout and coordinate fixes with
relevant teams.
5. Operational Handoff Support
Prepare detailed technical documentation and operational manuals.
Provide support during the stabilization period post-handoff to internal or external teams.
Other Responsibilities
Stay updated with current security tools, trends, and technologies.
Participate in post-implementation reviews and suggest enhancements.
Ensure compliance with security baselines and standards during deployments.
Work Experience:
5-8 years work experience in Telecom or IT (IT systems/network administration, preferably
hands-on experience in Server Operating System (Windows, UNIX/Linux) or network
devices; IT security systems administration (Firewall/VPN, Intrusion Prevention Systems,
Antivirus/Anti-spam, URL filtering, Encryption, etc.), Network
Design/Engineering/Operations/Service Management
Excellent working knowledge in Security Architecture and Design, Threat Modeling, Risk
Management, Stakeholder Management, Change Management
Excellent working experience in Application Development and Security
Level of Knowledge:
Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on
security, performance and reliability.
Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and
security
Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security
solutions.
