What You'll Be Doing
The global Source to Pay (S2P) Operations team supports the S2P process for all In Third Party Spend per year across suppliers, ensuring efficient and effective execution of purchase orders and related processes. The organization will oversee the end-to-end S2P process, including the creation, review, and approval of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, pricing, and delivery requirements, including expediting deliveries. Collaboration and integration are key aspects of this role, including working closely with business stakeholders, finance, accounts payable, and suppliers to facilitate a smooth purchasing process and ensure timely payments to vendors. The team will look to standardize and optimized the source-to-pay process, as well as identify opportunities to maximize the use of ERP automation capabilities and consolidate all transactional processing into CP Operations. Ensuring compliance with all Ethics & Compliance and Shell Control Framework requirements in the CP process is essential.
This role will be supporting the Americas region, and the respective shift requirement is expected.
Accountabilities
- Drive Procurement related activities in the Source-to-Pay Process
- Manage and drive (K)PI's related to MSC and Procurement performance
- Drive process and performance sustainability
- Identify improvement opportunities, provide business cases and data insight to enable value-oriented decision making.
- Drive cross country (on regional level) operational and commercial opportunities
- Rationalize number of Suppliers, enforce optimal Buying Channel utilization to maximize commercial opportunities and operational efficiencies
- Actively monitor process execution performance and undertake proper corrective actions including coaching, training and escalating where needed.
- Handle and resolve escalated issues with proper stakeholder management.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in Supply Chain and Procurement, with strong understanding of industry practices and operational requirements.
- Solid grasp of the marketplace related to spare parts, commodities, and end‑to‑end supply chain dynamics.
- Collaborative team player with strong drive and the ability to build and maintain long‑term professional relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Able to work independently, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and effectively balance risks and trade‑offs.
- Strong analytical capability, including the ability to quickly validate and interpret complex datasets.
- Ability to connect data to real‑world processes, demonstrating practical insight beyond numbers alone.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast‑paced environments.
- Experience in Manufacturing or Materials Management is an advantage.
- Broad understanding of cross‑functional interactions, including how Supply Chain integrates with other disciplines and business functions.
