Salesforce Developer

Summary:

The Salesforce Developer (Mid-Level) is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform to support business operations and strategic initiatives. This role partners closely with business analysts, Salesforce administrators, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions.

The position requires strong hands-on expertise in Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and Salesforce configuration, with a focus on automation, system performance, and platform best practices. The Salesforce Developer contributes throughout the full development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization, while ensuring adherence to governance, security, and DevOps standards.

Responsibilities:

• Development & Customization
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Schedulable Apex.
• Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWCs) and Aura components.
• Implement complex validation rules, flows, process automations, and page layouts.
• Customize standard Salesforce features (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud preferred).

• Integrations
• Develop and maintain integrations using:
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Platform Events
• External Services & Named Credentials
• Middleware tools (Mulesoft, Boomi, Jitterbit, or similar)

• Deployment & DevOps
• Use version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Deploy changes using:
• Change Sets
• SFDX / Salesforce CLI
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset preferred)

Experience:

• 3–5 years Salesforce development experience.
• Experience with Salesforce data model, security model, and automation tools.
• Ability to write 75%+ coverage unit tests with proper mocking and assertions.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification preferred but not required.
