Job Description

Be part of CIBI Information Inc., a purpose-driven company at the forefront of enabling better credit decisions in the Philippines and beyond.

About the role:

The Sales Manager (Hunter) will be the primary driver of new revenue acquisition and industry penetration, directly responsible for expanding CIBI's client base beyond its traditional IT-BPM stronghold into Logistics, Manufacturing, E-commerce, and BFSI. They will own the end-to-end sales cycle, from opportunity identification (via collaboration with Lead Gen) to closing new client contracts. Beyond sales closure, the Hunter will also establish the initial relationship handoff to the Account Manager, ensuring smooth onboarding and delivery alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and engage high-value prospects in target industries (Logistics/E-commerce, Manufacturing, BFSI, Real Estate).
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans per vertical, aligning with Greenfield strategy.
  • Lead presentations and product demos, tailoring WFS and (related) credit solutions to client requirements.
  • Manage a consistent, healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities, targeting both immediate wins and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Marketing for lead nurturing campaigns and with Operations for customized solutions.

B. Sales Pipeline & Deal Management

  • Maintain ownership of the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closure, and handover.
  • Use CRM to track all activities, update opportunities, and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, contracts, and documentation standards (critical for Background Screening-related engagements).
  • Negotiate commercial terms that balance client needs with profitability.

C. Industry & Client Insights

  • Stay current with sectoral trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes influencing verification and data needs.
  • Provide feedback to Product and Operations on client demands and emerging market requirements.
  • Participate in industry events, forums, and associations to build relationships and raise brand visibility.

D. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work with the Lead Gen Manager to align target lists and optimize MQL→SQL conversion.
  • Partner with the Account Manager for post-sale client transition and early renewal discussions.
  • Submit accurate weekly and monthly reports: pipeline value, close probability, and deal progress.

Job Specifications:

Experience

  • 5–8 years in B2B sales, preferably in HR Tech, SaaS, FinTech, or verification/compliance solutions.
  • Experience selling to HR, Risk, Compliance, or Procurement teams.

Industry Exposure

  • Exposure to Logistics, E-commerce, Manufacturing, Real Estate or BFSI clients.

Skills

  • Prospecting and consultative selling; excellent communication and negotiation.
  • Strong CRM discipline (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
  • Understanding of data privacy (DPA) and compliance-driven sales.

Behavioural Traits

  • High initiative and resilience (hunter mentality).
  • Strategic but hands-on; can open new doors independently.
  • Collaborative and transparent; aligns with team-based revenue targets.
