Role Description
The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Manila, responsible for driving room and event revenue while upholding Alino Hotel's hospitality values. This role includes identifying and pursuing new corporate and leisure business, maintaining relationships with key accounts, and conducting regular sales calls, hotel visits, and presentations. The Sales Manager will prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and rates, and collaborate with operations, front office, and events teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. Daily tasks involve monitoring market trends, analyzing sales performance, managing the sales pipeline and reports, and contributing to sales strategies and promotions. The role also requires active participation in local networking events, trade shows, and partnership initiatives to strengthen the hotel's market presence.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and account management skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and contract negotiation.
- Business development and relationship-building capabilities, with experience maintaining corporate and travel agency partnerships.
- Customer service and hospitality skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction, attentive communication, and conflict resolution.
- Analytical and organizational skills, including reporting, forecasting, and use of hotel or CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Filipino is an advantage.
- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales; experience in the Manila market is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when required for client meetings or events.
