Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in the Philippines. The Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and promote non-destructive testing equipment and solutions to industrial clients. Responsibilities include conducting client visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations, as well as preparing proposals, quotations, and tender responses. The role involves collaborating with internal technical teams to understand customer requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and support application and after-sales questions. The Sales Engineer will maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity reports, participate in industry events or trainings, and stay current on NDT technologies, standards, and market trends.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical aptitude, preferably with a degree or diploma in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in technical sales, field sales, or application engineering, ideally with industrial equipment or testing solutions.
  • Ability to understand and explain non-destructive testing concepts, equipment functions, and application scenarios to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven skills in building customer relationships, managing accounts, and negotiating commercial terms.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to prepare clear proposals, reports, and presentations.
  • Comfort with on-site client visits, travel within the Philippines, and occasional field work at industrial facilities.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with standard office and CRM software; willingness to learn product-specific software and tools.
  • Prior exposure to NDT, inspection services, or related industrial sectors is an advantage but not mandatory.
