Job Responsibilities

  • Under the general guidance and supervision of the Sales Manager (CSO), and within the limits of established Corporate/Sales policies and procedures, provides effective administrative support for the marketing and sales function of Fili Hotel and its Sales personnel on an as-needed basis. Ensures that all administrative sales and marketing responsibilities are dealt with efficiently and effectively. Promotes the desired work culture around the core values of the company.
  • Assists the sales team in the prompt issue of quotations and contracts and act as a point of contact for incoming calls during peak periods.
  • Provides administrative assistance for the Sales personnel and the Assistant Director of Sales.
  • Assists in the rollout of marketing programs, including daily coordination with agencies on brand and lead generation programs, and internal communication of programs via memoranda and notice boards
  • Assists sales and marketing teams in their weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Maintains the property website and ensures all content is correct and responds to web requests.
  • Keeps all customer databases up to date
  • Manages stationary, collateral, media kits, photography, and corporate gift stock.
  • Administers the purchase order system for the department.
  • Manages gift certificate register, including response and follow-up to sponsorship requests.
  • Monitors and reports on the success of individual marketing campaigns.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities: Demonstrates Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensures all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines. Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures. Be familiar with property safety, first aid, and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly. Initiates action to correct a hazardous situation and notifies superiors of potential dangers.

Qualifications

  • Work Experience - One (1) year of related work experience in the hotel industry.
  • Educational Background - Graduate of Business Course or any four-year business-related course.
  • Computer Literacy – MS Office, Internet.
  • Special Skills/Licenses/Area of Expertise - Business Management.
  • Core Competencies - Planning and organizing skills, strong interpersonal skills, customer and employee-focused, results-oriented and problem-solving.
  • Work Experience - At least three (3) years of related work experience in the hotel industry.
  • Special Skills/Licenses/Area of Expertise - Business Management, Sales and Marketing skills.
