Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Risk Manager at Converge ICT Solutions Inc. located in Pasig. The Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to the company's operations and projects on a daily basis.

Education: Minimum Educational Qualifications for this position

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, electronic and communications engineering, risk management, or a related field.
  • Certificate in Risk Management a distinct advantage.

Relevant Experience:

  • With more than 10 years of strategic and operational experience in Risk Management in a large-sized, MNC or a local company with nationwide operations of at least 3,000 5,000 employees.
  • Has hands-on experience in the development and implementation of an Enterprise Risk Management Program
  • Has experience in risk identification, assessment and risk mitigation activities
  • Proven project management skills
  • Telecommunications industry or other public utilities experience preferred.
  • The incumbent should know the entire business and its processes to determine key risk exposures and prioritize risk management treatment plans to achieve business objectives.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Enterprise Risk Management

  • Provide support in the development, implementation, and adoption of ERM Program across the organization.
  • Provide support on overseeing the effective execution of risk management initiatives across the organization.

ERM Governance Documents

  • Provide support in the development, implementation, and adoption of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Governance Documents, as well as in the maintenance and continuous improvement of ERM framework, policies, guidelines, and procedures to achieve company objectives.

ERM governance documents includes but not limited to the following:

  • ERM Manual
  • ERM Policy
  • Risk Registers

Capacity Building

  • Develop and execute communication and information plan to increase awareness and risk management knowledge among employees.
  • Develop risk management training materials and facilitate training sessions on risk management among new hires and other targeted employees

ERM Audit and Assurance Activities

  • Provide support on ERM-related audits and assurance activities for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide assistance on reviewing findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor, follow-up, and report whether agreed recommendations are implemented.

Coordination with Other Risk Functions

  • Support and manage other related risk management areas (e.g. business continuity, compliance, data privacy and information security) as and when required.

Others

  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting team budget in relation to risk management initiatives
  • Provide updates to management, as applicable.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the ERM Manager.
