Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities including track works, earthworks, bridges, stations, signaling, and related infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor contractor performance, progress, and resource deployment.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Identify and resolve technical issues at site.
- Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Review and certify contractor interim payment certificates.
- Evaluate variation orders and support contract administration.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, railway authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to site teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in railway or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of railway construction standards and contract conditions (FIDIC preferred).
- Experience in track alignment, quality control, and testing & commissioning.
