Job Summary

The Research and Development Specialist focuses on product research and process development, improvement of new and bestselling products for its assigned category.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

1. Leads in the development and improvement of assigned product categories.
2. Coordinates with and assists other R&D Specialists to ensure required parameters of assigned product category and process development and improvement projects, including reformulation and re-engineering are met.
3. Recommends and implements the review/study of food manufacturing equipment, process improvements or alternative raw materials for upgrading or updating for commercialization.
4. Responsible for leading innovation projects related to quality consistency and process and cost improvement of assigned products.

Job Qualifications

• BS Food Technology Grad or BS Major in Food Technology
• Have at least 1 year of experience in Recipe Development in baking
• Self-motivated individuals with a keen sense of leadership, able to problem-solve on their own and with a team.
• Loves to cook and eat
